Welcome
to my fanfiction site!
This is the place where you can read my fanfiction.
This blog was created (at the beginning) to host a fanfiction for the TV series Castle, due to some readers' aversion to it, because of the subject matter. To know what I'm talking about, you'll just have to read it. I got tired of reading comments from people who apparently cannot differentiate between reality and fiction and decided to simply post it here.
Then I got blocked and never finished it.
I've been quite active in the City Hunter fanfic community a few years back, so most of the work on this site/blog is now dedicated to my favorite fandom. And I hope to add to it even more.
Some stories are finished, some are WIP, while some have officially been relegated into the unfinished section.
Feel free to browse and if you like (or don't) something, don't hesitate in leaving a comment.
Thanks again for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay.
WORK IN PROGRESS
Homecoming
(City Hunter fanfiction)After seven years, Kaori is finally back in Japan. Many things have changed in these past seven years. More importantly, people have also changed...But so has she. She's no longer the 25-year-old love-struck girl, but a woman. With much different priorities...
Veronica Mars S4 Redux (a.k.a Still Going Epic)
(Veronica Mars fanfiction)AU — Someone has obviously decided to terminate Neptune's spring break activities using very deadly means, and the dynamic father-daughter duo of Mars Investigation is all over the case.
(A/N: This is an alternative universe, parallel dimension, parallel timeline, what-if rewrite (take your pick) version of Season 4, because I can be lazy, too, and use an already established storyline and then throw in a trope to turn it all around.)
COMPLETED FANFICTION
(hover over story title to learn more...)
A CH job goes a bit off script, resulting in Kaori getting her lights turned off for a while, scaring the spit out of her partner and her friends. She wakes up pretty soon and doesn't appear to be suffering any ill effects...Until she discovers she can read minds; or to be more specific, male minds. This could prove to be a golden opportunity to find out what's going on in Ryo's head, but she soon discovers she's bitten off more than she can chew...
(A/N: This story has its own story. I began to write it as a challenge fic back in 2007 and effectively stopped at chapter 25 a few months later. It stayed in limbo for a decade until I dreamed of every single detail of the unwritten part of it and decided to resurrect it.
This is a collection of one-shots depicting little moments in the lives of Ryo and Kaori. The individual stories don't follow a specific timeline (eventually it will start skipping back and forward in the timeline of the manga story arc), it's really just a collection of little vignettes of life in the Saeba household.
Since Ryo has returned to his "old life" thanks to her amnesia, Kaori partnered up with Mick. The three are now in the middle of a challenge of who gets to use the title of City Hunter. They've taken the same job of protecting Hazuki, a fitness instructor someone wants dead for an unknown reason. Whoever solves the case first, becomes the real (and only) City Hunter.
Knowing what she's dealing with, Kaori comes up with an almost fool-proof solution to get Mick to focus on the job instead on the distractions "offered" at Hazuki's gym...And Ryo learns the hard way that Karma truly is a bitch.
(A/N: This story was cooked up after a re-read of the series and the acute rage Ryo's actions in volume 31, as Kaori develops her temporary amnesia, provoked. I thought it would be a hoot if he got a taste of his own medicine.)
A year after the events in Season 4, Veronica is traveling the world, while she's waiting for answers as to what really happened when the last bomb went off.
(A/N: This story contains the spoiler about the end of Season 4 of Veronica Mars. If you haven't seen the last season yet, read at your own discretion.
I proudly admit to being a LoVe shipper, because we're talking about a fictitious relationship and not real life, so get off my back about it, if you're bothered by it. And since I'm a LoVe shipper, for all possible re-watches, Season 4 officially ends 10 minutes early. Because they both deserve it. And because they both deserve it, I wrote this story. This might not be the story I supposedly "need", but it sure as heck the one I "want", so I fixed it.)
After a day-long merry chase around Shinjuku after a phantom client who ends up being Ryo, Kaori is pissed and seriously contemplating murder. But what awaits her at home just might make her forget her vengeful intentions...
(A/N: This was supposed to be one of the Vignettes stories, but it turned out longer than I expected—which is a rather common occurrence in my writing—so I decided to post it as a separate story. Don't worry, it's just two chapters long. It might be a little OOC, though.)
OC — Someone new has joined the musketeers and got paired up with our fearless foursome. But Alexandre Reynaud isn't what he appears, with a hidden agenda that might get them all killed, whose secret will affect the dynamic, relationships and lives between them, striking right through the heart of a musketeer.
Ryo and Kaori's wedding day has finally arrived... But in Tokyo many things can happen, many surprises may occur, especially for the City Hunter duo... And on this special day an old enemy appears seeking vengeance...
(A/N: This fanfiction was created (way back in 2005) in response to a challenge. I had to create a story around Ryo and Kaori's wedding, or decision to get married, and incorporate some action and a tragedy or two, and to make the reader laugh and cry.)
Ryo's short return to the jungle makes him think about his feelings toward Kaori, and helps him make an important decision regarding their relationship.
You can only kick a dog so many times before they bite back. Laurel Lance has been kicked a lot. And she’s had it. Enough was enough. It was time to break the so-called rut. She was tired of the tug-and-push game, tired of pining after the man. She needed a clean break...
She just didn’t count with the determination and stubbornness of our favorite vigilante.
"Heav'n has no rage like love to hatred turn'd"...
Slade Wilson has only one reason for being in Starling City—to bring down his former friend, Oliver Queen. Unfortunately, the corruption of the person Oliver loves most goes terribly awry.
(A/N: After watching episode 2x09, I was struck with the image of how I'd like the Slade Wilson arc to end. Or more importantly, who I'd like to end the Slade Wilson arc.)
A few months after the team lost one of their own, they have to face a loss of a different kind. A loss that cuts deeper than anything.
OC — There's a new governor in town, determined to get to the bottom of the shady deals his predecessor was involved in. And he's brought reinforcements, a fresh pair of eyes and ears to help the Five-0 come to the bottom of the case McGarret's father had been investigating.
But these two new arrivals might shake up more than just the investigation...
